Endor
Where Saul consulted a medium to summon the spirit of Samuel before his battle with the Philistines (1 Samuel 28), believed to be the ruin of Khirbet Safsafeh north of the Jezreel Valley, between Mount Tabor and the hill of Moreh.

The modern Kibbutz En Dor is named to commemorate ancient Endor but is not the same location; the coordinates used are those of Khirbet Safsafeh, believed to be the ancient ruins.
