Riblah
Where Nebuchadnezzar set up his military headquarters during the conquest of Judah, and where King Zedekiah's sons were killed before him and his eyes were put out (2 Kings 25:6-7). The name and location survive in the small Syrian village of Ribleh on the Orontes River.

The ancient place name has continued unchanged into the modern village name (Ribleh), leaving little disagreement over its identification.
