Smyrna
A port city, home to one of the seven churches of Revelation that received no rebuke, only praise. Corresponds to modern İzmir, where Roman-era agora ruins have been excavated in the city center.

In antiquity there were two sites, Old Smyrna (Bayraklı) and New Smyrna (the agora in present-day central İzmir); the coordinates used here are for New Smyrna, corresponding to the Revelation-era (Roman) period.
