Three Taverns
A stop on the Appian Way where believers from Rome came out to meet Paul as he was being taken to the city as a prisoner (Acts 28:15), about 50 km from Rome near modern Cisterna di Latina.

As a waystation on an ancient road, its approximate location is agreed upon (near Cisterna), but scholars differ slightly on the precise point, so it is marked 'probable.'
